Marine wildlife to look out for this autumn

Whilst the warm, calm sunny days of summer seem like a distant memory a trip to the beach is still worthwhile.  Storms that come in off the Atlantic can bring with them all kinds of interesting finds which wash up on the strandline waiting to be discovered.  Beachcombing is a great excuse to get outside and is a fun activity for the whole family.  You never know what you might find!

Spotted ray given second chance at Kimmeridge Bay

Two months after marine conservation officers discovered a stranded eggcase at Kimmeridge, the wait was finally over and the ray hatched on 23rd November.  Read more about this increadible story and see videos of its release back into the sea...

The Kingcombe Centre launches new programme of courses & workshops for 2019

Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Kingcombe Centre in west Dorset has launched its new 2019 programme of courses and workshops on a new-look website.  The programme has 54 courses covering a wide range of subjects, from conservation to chocolate making.

DWT runs free event for National Lottery players
